[FS]: REV Valve Spring Setup (Ti Retainers, etc)
[FS]: REV Valve Spring Setup (Ti Retainers, etc)
For Sale: 1 Set (16) of REV (Racing Engine Valves) Valvesprings (#1122's), Titanium retainers, 10 degree locks and seats.
This setup came on my CNC Cylinder Heads out of Pinella's Pines, Florida Stage III for my LT4 cylinder heads. Diameter is 1.46 and capable of valve lift in the .620 range depending on installed height, etc.
I used them for ~9800 miles with my 1.6 ratio GM 847 camshaft (.575/.595 lift) on the recent One Lap of America/Cannonball. So about ~150 track miles and the rest highway.
I have done the inevitable upgrade and no longer need these quality pieces.
I ran these at 1.800 height which equals 130 on the seat and ~350 over the nose...
Cost is $50 shipped in the continental US via FEDEX.
I just need to clean the garage out...going to the UK!

Re: [FS]: REV Valve Spring Setup (Ti Retainers, etc)
Is this everything i would need as far as springs go for my cam install(cc305)??? Also, will these fit onto lt1 heads with no machine work?? I am very interested. Hit me back asap.
Re: [FS]: REV Valve Spring Setup (Ti Retainers, etc)
These valve springs would require machining to a stock LT1/LT4 cylinder heads. I believe stock is ~1.25 inches in diameter.
Otherwise a complete valvespring package...

Re: [FS]: REV Valve Spring Setup (Ti Retainers, etc)
Above statements are correct.
The cylinder head would have to be machined for the spring/seat. This is a common operation for a shop to do and if moving to a larger camshaft, etc...is nearly required...the larger the spring the more aggressive the valvetrain can be.
