Thanks for that Todd, you new I'd appreciate the info. Base price of $44,000.00 US will make it around high fifties here. I would want the performance suspension package but that Onstar is a waste of money if you ask me. My buddy has it in his new Silverado and never used it, even on a trip to the states. The sunset orange metallic paint was available on the firehawks and it looks sweet. The other colours I like are black and that custom order mag red, cashmere interior sounds good to me. If I wait till next year I'll be ordering a new car. I see more C5's in the paper today and the 02 Z06 at Eagle Ridge Pontiac had been reduced again. Too wait or not to wait, that is the question? I'm off the next couple of days and I'm going vet shopping anyways and will post results late friday night. I've got this sickness called Corvette Fever, watch out it's spreading around.

I have a gut feeling that the coupe........(once u put the basic options on it) will be atleast 65,000 and the vert around 72,000 for the first year.........just wait till 2006....thats when the aluminum frame will be comeing out for the z06 atleast (possibly all the vettes)

One good thing about the vet is they come with quite a few options already. You don't have to order leather and those power options that we love. Z-51 suspension is a must have option for me. A brand new fully loaded Z06 or vert will be out of my range for now. If I waited for 06 I could get the full load with aluminum frame, that sounds awesome. I like the side air-bags too, great safety feature. An 06 vet is just too far down the line to even consider at this stage but it's good to know what's comming so you don't regret what you buy. The last year of any body style is not the preferred choice cause it starts to look old as soon as you drive it of the lot. Something I must remember when I go shopping.

Thanks that was a great read. I loved the C4 shots and what they thought it would look like ha ha!

I think the new vette looks incredible, i just find it hard to understand why they couldnt have put half of that design team in on a new f-body.

I hope its a huge hit and drives down the price of current vettes
