My buddy has spent a lot of time cleaning it up after I bought it. I also think he has spent some time port matching it... not sure though. I would feel bad selling it after he had put time into it.
I should give him a ring and see what he has done to the 96. Also, someone said (Bunker perhaps?) that the ports on the 96 manifold are more similar in shape to the ports on the heads.

Oh yeah, I need to take the intake manifold off anyways to fix an oil leak.

It should be fine. It didn't smell funny when I pulled it off, and had a good ~gold color to it. It has been sitting in a shed under a porch for 2-3 months.
