WTB Mountain Bike

Hey Guys where can I get a deal on a mountain bike, nothing fancy $200 or less. I want a few goodies on it, seen a few out there for $179 just wondering if anyone has any hook ups or knows of a good place to get one. thanks

just a word of advise don't but any bike from Canadian tire or places like that, but one from a reputable dealer, or go to Costco, they aren't the greatest bikes but they are cheap and if you have any problems you can return it for full price as long as you keep the receipt.

Bought my latest mountain bike at crappy tire. Alloy frame and front suspension for a few hundred bucks. No more expensive Cannondale's or Rocky Mountain bikes that get stolen.

If you plan to ride it, don't get a cheap bike. You will spend more on parts than the original bike price. Unless you idea of mountain biking is riding around stanley park. Then that type of bike is for you.

In that price range stay away from "suspension" bikes, they are just springs that waste your energy. I have owned 2 full suspension bikes and for steet riding they are hopless.

Nope, I have a super 8 with boxxers, mrp, and a whole lot of other junk. Besides, being 225lbs, I would probably break a VPS :P
