WTB LT1 Alternator

Looking to buy a used LT1 alternator. Doesn't matter if it works or not, I really just need the case and I need it this weekend (Portland/Vancouver area).

Let me know what you have and how much you want for it.

Thanks,
Mike

Damn, if I lived a bit closer I'd be all over that.

I'll cover shipping +enough for a twelver if you want to ship it and I can't find one locally. Every place I've called so far won't sell an alternator outright without exchange, and all the auto recyclers want over 80/bux for a used alternator???

I had this alternator powdercoated, and well,,,,, long story short, I think it's fubar'd. I had a guy press-in new bearings after it was powdercoated and now the bearing keeps slipping, causing the fan/pulley to slide backwards and rub on the case. He either doesn't know what the hell he's doing, or the bearing pocket split since I've had this alt. back in his shop about 5-6 times in the last week or so. I'm through trying to make this one work lol...

No sweat, just let me know if ya want it. Its a 24k mile unit out of my old 97 Z28. So you could just as easily just use the entire unit and just $hitcan the one thats fubar'd

I also have a low mount alternator bracket if you or anyone else is interested.

Shoot me an email if ya want it and I can just get it shipped out for ya.....
