WOOT! 5 steps forward, one back

Ollie leant me his OBD2 and after 20 hours of chasing my tail these last three weeks, it was a fried PCM responsible for the two dead cylinders.

The car was running smoothly and I started playing with VE tables and timing and was making some progress on the idle tuneing and then things started to get wierd on me.

The car overheated big time and puked all over the garage. That sent the Air Fuel Ratio off to the lean side again - I assume and hope that the overheating and the lean results are related.

But no matter I'm SKY HIGH. I'll figure out the overheating issue.

So Sunday is looking promising.

Good to hear you're making progress.
Hope you'll be able to make it this weekend.
I'll be praying to the Chevy gods for you.

I have my fingers crossed that it all works - you sure earned it.

I'll wager there were more than a couple of sleepless nights and that a Honda civic started to look like a good idea

Hmmmm Now that I think of it........

it is an exclamation of glee commonly used on the online game I like to play, Asherons Call.

I guess it is not as broad a ephamisim as I might have thought

Of course I like to also think of my car as being uber.

Thumbs up All Right!!

So glad to hear the beast is springing to life finally, after all the challenges you have faced in getting it alive. Sounds like it's going to be on the road soon!! I personally can't wait to see it... I am hoping with the good news that a bunch of us with verts are still possibly able to get together once the weather gets nice (and BPS gets his beast on the road) and do a vert run!! I am seriously looking forward to that possiblity...

At any rate, congrats on the recent success!! Thanks for keeping all of us sideline fans in the loop Shaun....
