Does anyone have a "hookup" in Whistler in regards to a hotel, cabin, condo, townhome, etc.? I haven't started calling anywhere yet but I thought I'd try here first to see if anyone wanted to rent out their place or knew of somewhere nice.

I stayed in a studio room...a few weeks ago at the whistler village Inn.....it was alright....big *** room though...a little to big for just the 2 of us......I think it was like 140 a night......but that was on the long weekned

 

Usually I get a room up there for about $100 if its a studio, or about $130 if its a suite. Sometimes less. I usually stay at Deer Lodge and book it online at Whistler Accomodations, or something like that.

Personally I'd check with Sandeep... bet you 10 to 1 he has a relative, a friend, etc... with a hook up.

 

Todd, I've been there before...nice place but a little bit "older" looking.

Chris, I usually go to Deer lodge...but we threw a hotel room party there last month and were banned for life...turns out some girl puked at the reception desk at 4am .

Anyways, I called Whistler Town Plaza - got a room with a full kitchen/fireplace/washer/dryer for $69 . They initially quoted $79 (still good) but knocked another $10 off for my corporate rate .

I'll be there with the GF from Sunday to Wednesday...some friends are coming up to party with us. You guys are more than welcome to join us. For anyone interested in camping, the two of us will be camping just outside of Squamish on Friday and Saturday night down at the river where the glacier-melt-off converges...I love BC .

hahahaha Chris you're a funny guy........as a matter of fact..............two of my cousins live there and One of my cousins has a condo up there. Unfortunately he's in Cuba right now sooo I couldn't help you which is why I didn't respond.
Aly, if you get a chance stop by the only Subway there and ask for Harry or Bhup (pronounced Bhoop) If Harry is there tell him ur from BCTFB and ask him ..... actually tell him to get his FREAKIN CAR on the road for longer than a day. He's got an NICE 82 camaro w/ a 389 in it. (he is a paid member but the drive to the meets is a little long) Anyways ask him for more details. Either way drop my name with them. If there is a skinny brown guy behind the counter, his name is Sandeep as well, tell him u know me and are looking for Harry. If they have time they have some decent hookups at the clubs that they can help you with.

oh yeah and none of the white... ie mean caucasian people know me there, so no point in asking them.

Whistler Town Plaza is awesome too. Great rates and good location. The give me the same corner room everytime I go. Sweet.

Chris, I think someone is playing an evil trick on me...I went to the Town Plaza website and a picture of Deer Lodge showed up...we put the room under my GF's name just to be safe .
