What was your worse speeding tix?

Driving up to Kelowna in early July 98 I got my most recent ticket just before Hope. The female RCMP officer stepped right in front of my 95 TA. She must have known that I had decent brakes. I've had worst accidents than tickets.

My first and only speeding ticket, the day I bought my first car - my Camaro. I got busted for 210 in an 80 zone just outside of Hope Fortunatly, tickets were still cheap then and it only cost me $130.

Another guy busted in the Hope area, watch out around there. The worst spots to get pulled over for speeding on the freeway are: Burnaby, Langley, Abbottsford, Hope and Merritt. Anyone else knowing of high radar zones please post them hear for all of our benefit.

My only ticket was just an 80 in a 60 zone... I was *cough* racing an unmarked police car. I thought he was trying to cut me off so I floored it.
That's my only ticket... it's hard to get tickets when you're in such a slow car

140km on HWY 1 in Burnaby....got it when tickets where cheap - cost me $145 and 3 points.
The worst ticket I got was Driving with undue care and attention...$345 and 6 points.
I'd rather pay a higher fine than get the points

in my 89 stang, before i sold it, i got pulled over doing 100 in a 50 zone... but he didn't give me a ticket he even shouted at me that i was doing 100, and asked if i was rich (i said no, i'm a uni student, this was in 2nd yr... so 2 yrs ago)... and then he got back in his car, shouted "slow down u idiot" and went...
ok, i have objections being called an idiot, but it beats getting my N at the time taken away
worst ticket... only one, 140 on h-way 99... just got a speeding against posted speed ticket for $150, + the tint ticket of $90 as well... so $240

When I was 16, I lived in Prince Albert, SK. I had 4 other kids in the F*ord Aerostar (BTW, brand new it was a POS), and had dropped off my Dad at the airport in Saskatoon that morning.
After hanging out for a while we headed home. Around Duck Lake we got the great idea of "topping out" the little 4-banger in a loaded down minivan. While the highway there is straighter, flatter, and longer than ANYTHING I've ever seen in MN, MB, AB, BC, ND.... there was 1 hill up ahead.
So there we are, cruising at 158 kpm, when the hill in the distance is now ~100 yards ahead. As we slowed down and came over the 15' "summit"... an RCMP passed us going the other direction. Just freaky timing I guess.
I was SURE he didn't get us on radar and nearly panic-stopped after we saw him (he came into view ~10 feet before we passed eachother, and didn't even have time to flick on his lights). I watched him appear behind us, lights flashing, and gave me aticket for 115kph.
I nearly crapped my pants.
Unfortunately I only got 2 more tickets and 1 accident that year so insurance went from $25 a year to... $100. Don't EVER try to tell me goverment-based insurance is a crazy idea.
Only had 1 ticket since... that I've been found guilty of. Not bad for 11 years and 150,000 miles of driving.
