what should I do?

Now that the car is finally drivable, and I'm broke as hell!!
I'm not sure what I should do for transportation.

All I need is a good voting crowd to help me make up my mind.

Thanx!

With gas prices the way they are you might want to put keep the car away for the summer then bring her out in the winter

Sell the red junker!!!! . Ill be a good friend and take her off your hands but due to the shape etc. I cant really give you much for it. Maybe a case or 2 of beer? Keep both. Insure the Jeep and use day permits for weekends

I can't afford to run both right now. I was going to just cancle all together but now I want to drive the IROC.

The IROC is actually $60 less per month on insurance. As far as gas goes... I haven't driven the IROC too much to figure that out. I'm sure the IROC is way more on gas though.

I've been in your shoes, of course everybody here would say Insure the IROC, they all love F-bodies. But I'm sure your IROC isn't the most practical daily driver to go to work etc. If you do cancel the Jeep, you will regret it. All the creature comforts etc. and also your IROC with that much more power will be less reliable than before.

Why don't you insure the IROC for 3 months with pleasure insurance?

I only drive the odd day after work and on the weekends. During the week I rarely drive. I catch the bus DT or get a ride with a buddy of mine. Its a hell of a lot cheaper than driving!

I'm thinking I'm just gonna transfer the insurance... that is if I can get it to pass aircare this weekend.

Keep the Jeep for a daily driver and insure the Camaro on every other weekend or so with a day permit. Much cheaper that way, unless you have/want to drive it more than 6 times a month.

okay... I'm gonna try to explain again. Both the Cherokee and the IROC are plesure vehicles. Insuring both vehicles is not cost effecient at all... its either one or another.

Ya... I think thats what its gonna end up being.

I'm gonna try to get to pass air care tomorrow. If it passes the insurance is getting transfered. If it failes... then I have to decide to keep the Jeep insured or just cancle it and let my bank account recover a little.
