take out the plugs to see if theres any signs of it burning oil..
do a compression check..
check for scan codes..

Great Chris, we nominate you the official LS1 tech adviser. We can never have enough of them. That's depressing that there is no shop that specializes in LS1 or LT1 motors. There's tons of them out here. We should open our own shop.
hey guys,
well just got off the phone with him.
it has an unbelievable amount of SLP options.
it has everything from the bilstein suspension to the camaross stitching into the floor mats.( hes never used to floor mats)
it has a cloth interior and no t-tops. which is cool.
the paint is awseome he said.. hes always kept it in the garage.. and hes put it in storage a few times. the only problem hes had was the serpintine belt which was changed under warranty. and it actually has less mileage then advertised. it has 30000kms.
the seller is 48 years old! sweeeet.. so im pretty sure hes babied it.
seems to know a lot about the car.

It does look good on paper (or e-paper...). Price is nice, Kms are good. The belt change is fairly common in an attempt to minimize some of the ticking noises that LS1's encounter - no big deal. Likely thats what he did. Sounds well taken care of. Same year as mine, with a few more kms on it. Definitely worth seeing.
