All those stations suck... 94.5 the Beat is by far the best Vancouver has!!! Xfm always sucked, so did 99.3. Rock 101.1 plays the classics, probably before most of ur times... and it can be good at times.

The Beat. Lol, people talking like they grew up in Compton.

The Fox had a rating of 4, while XFM had a rating of 1.4. Why pay for advertising on the station when you can get 3x the listeners on CFOX?

Wow, so many of you guys listen to the radio. Two rules for driving in my car, don't drive in rush hour and don't play the radio. Most of us have nice sound systems in our f-bodys so why bother. I hate all the commercials, reception can be a problem, don't need traffic reports and they don't play what you want to hear. With all this MP3 and downloading of music for free why would you want to listen to the radio? If they had an option in cars with no radios I'd go for it. CD's all the way baby!

How do you find out about new music unless you hear it on the radio. It's like having a preview without going to the record store and listening

By the time you hear it on the radio (especially with Vancouver's crappy stations) it is old news. For example, this new Outcast song is considered brand new...even though they play it 5000 times a day!!! I heard that song a while ago over the internet. I think the local stations stink in Vancouver and they only contribute to the pirating of music. If they played better stuff, I wouldn't have to download.

I think 94.5 is the only station i can't stand, and my GF keeps putting it over my 101.1 preset on my cd player
101 is sweet!

listening to the radio is like going back old school and it seems to be getting worse. "new" tracks on the radio are like 6 months old since the singles release date. I envy the other cities with bearable stations out there...oh well back to cd's and ilegal d/l for me

The Fox is not like XFM, XFM had much better music, the Fox plays rap aswell like EMINNEM or whatever & stupid slow songs aswell. Plus how can you not miss:

THE RANDOM X OF KINDNESS,

There once lived a little boy in the city of Shpurgan, his was Spurgan Miscobobon "james had money", we hear at XFM were touched by the little boy's story & descided to make, THE RANDOM X OF KINDNESS.

The random X of kindess crew is giving out many of today's cherity gifts, we've given out umbrellas on rainy days, & food for the homeless.

Spurgen, your it!

I MISS THAT RADIO STATION!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch out Talos or should I say N*te? I'd be leary of someone wondering who I was too, especially with only 1 post count. Sandeep, you're talking to someone who been involved in music for a long time. I'm a part-time DJ so I stay on top of what's comming out. I've drummed with famous local recording artist, watch satellite music stations and read the Georgia Straight. I get some comp tickets for concerts too from my connected friends. Plus my drum room is surrounded in CD's. The only thing I'll listen to on the radio is NW 98 for the Canuck games and that's rare cause I'm usually parked in front of the tube at that time.
