I had them for a bit......and if u keep cleaning them...people will just think they are chrome.......but if you stop cleaning them..once they get dirty....they lose the chrome look to them

I had polished wheels on a ol' truck of mine.......long ago......(sniff sniff.....was a good truck. )
I liked them.
However, there was a fair amount of elbow grease needed to keep them looking decent.
Nothing worth doing is easy........

kal,

i got polished wheels, here is a pic of them
http://www.v6firefury.com/images/newap/aprilnp1.JPG

bet you thought they were chrome

anyways, chrome is the way to go, however.. if you want to keep your wheels on during the winter months when there is salt on the road, chrome is NOT the way to go..

salt damages chrome, so if you get chrome you will have to take off your rims during the winter time and ride with your ugly stock rims..

now if u get polished, u can just leave em on and nothing will happen to it..

We have both. I prefer Polished because they are lighter. Chrome has a nice look but as soon as rust starts they are junk
