Wanna Hook Me Up With A Job?
Ebay Vancouver just opened up a call center. EA Sports is always hiring software/game testers. Bell Canada is expanding across the lower mainland.
What education do you have? What skills? Basically, if you can tell me what you can actually do and the experience you have that back up your skills, I can drop your name and resume to few people in the industry.

the funny thing is that they teach you crap so infact what you were once good at you are not good at anymore, like I was pretty good at soldering, but after listening to all the crap the teacher teaches I keep getting worse, its almost like they overite what you already once knew, I hate this.

). It seems like a cool place to work, but they're not hiring any programmers right now.
I thought they were hiring for sure - they advertised jobs within the last couple of weeks. I found some DBA and Web Dev positions of their site:

Alex, what sort of programming do you do?
I'm a UBC EE student with a focus on computer/software engineering. I graduate in December, but I'm looking for a summer job.
I'm taking a course in Computer Graphics right now, it's really cool. Our project for the term is to make a computer game in OpenGL. My group is doing a FPS style game.
I'd like to do the 3d engine side of things if I was going to work at a game company. Lots of cool algorithms to fiddle with.
