Question vortec supercharger?"?

Well what sould I do I've got someone with a 9 psi charger in the box new that wants to sell it to me for $125. The guy is in my class so I trust him but is it worth it????? Thats just the supercharger none of the bits to put it on per say... It would turn my Iroc from a 240hp = 385hp easy pepy ride. To what I kinda want. So what you think???? Let me know?????? thanks

$125??
Seriously man, this guy is trying to take you for a ride, he's just trying to get some money out of you..........
Vortech SC'ers are worth 20 times that.
I don't know what this guy thinks he has, but I can assure you it's not a Vortch 9psi Supercharger..........

Unless he just ripped it off and is willing to unload it for cheap becuase he doesn't know what it's worth.........

It sounds like he is trying to sell you the head unit only. If it is in bad shape it may need a rebuild. If I were you I would buy a complete, used kit.

I can't see how buying a head unit for $125 will get you anywhere, because you will need to find all the other pieces and then hope the head unit works when you fire it up. Do you know what trim the head unit is? S-trim for instance?

$125 for the head unit? That is too cheap to be true, the head unit is the most expensive part of any kit. That is a steal if you don't want it, get that guy to contact me. Thanks.

That has GOT to be a stolen unit. If you 'all feel comfortable perpetuating the criminals that steal then don't ask for any compassion from me when YOUR car gets victimized.

Remember, if no one bought stolen goods, there would be no market to justify stealing them. I cannot imagine the pain and anger I would feel if someone violated my car.

You guys are just perpetuating the problem.

^^^ I totally agree. I used to get pissed off at people when they talked about buying hot car stereo stuff. I would never buy stolen goods. Work for it like everyone else does.

People will always steal, might as well take advantage of the good deals and it would be quite hard to go into a car to steal a blower so whomever is "missiing" there supercharger was probably in on it in some way

What goes around comes around... how are you going to feel when your **** gets stolen?

Also, maybe the whole car was stolen and they pulled all the goodies off of it?
