HAHAHAHAHAA, my friend just did something like that yesterday, not as bad but now his LT1 has a main bearing knock

 

Didnt see any brakelights so maybe he had a line lock. I can think of better things to do with my rubber than sit there and smoke them but you gotta get your rubber fix somehow. I prefer to burn them off at 50mph .

Can you get a line lock that will let the brakes off a little at a time?
I'm rather ignorant on this subject - I thought it was an on-or-off kind of thing.

but what u could do . is start smokin the tires, hold the brakes (but not too hard) engage line lock, let brakes go and then drag ur tires with u ... not too good for the front calipers id say though

 

You can still use your front brakes normally with the line lock on. It looks like a brakestand now that I think of it though the way he started it, if it was a line lock he could have smoked them without even moving.
