Vadalism?

My car got kicked or hit n run right in the upper middle part of my driver side door. I doubt there was paint left on it, but I can see some grease sigh. Although fiber glass doesn't dent, but they break and shatter

it's suck that I have to park at the back alley at work.

And I've got all my air out of my tire before, same location, I dunno how I should deal with it. Suggestion?

I hate vandels. Find a safer parking spot, take a bus or beater to work, say so-long to Surrey. I like the last choice best.

Re: Vadalism?

Thanx for your suggestion, but that's the only free parking spot in White Rock, right behind the restaurant. Maybe I really should buy a beater, but driving to work is the only time I can spend time in my car, daily
And I thought Surrey was the worst, didn't expect my first 2 vadels are from White Rock

Anyone got a front clip or door for sale? haha

Re: Vadalism?

You know what's sad? As soon as I saw your post, I knew you were from Surrey. I think every car enthusiast in the lower mainland should have a car cruise to get HUGE publicity from the Media, saying how everybody is going to crack down on car theives, and take matters into their own hands if need be. Maybe raise some money to get more car theft/vandalism support from the cops, make it a safer place if you have an aftermarket stereo or any type of nice-looking car.

Re: Vadalism?

If its that bad, ask you boss (or property manager) about putting a camera on the back alley where staff parks with a monitor in the kitchen or whatever to see whats going on. Get an Infra red camera installed if you figure its a night time issue. Then you'll see who's harassing your stuff. Probably some punk white rock kids...

If you need costs on that, drop me an email. Thats what we do at our office for work.

Re: Vadalism?

Thanx Chris, we would definitely need some cameras for the front and the back, the front glasses of the restaurant have been vadalized twice with in a month
I will send you an email later on when I'm not busy.

Yeah, reported to the police today, an officer came and he couldn't even tell if that was a vadalism or hit-n-run. Called ICBC, guess what? They said 350 for vadalism, 750 for hit and run. Going to see the adjuster on Monday to let THEM to decide. (Shouldn't have been that honest) For 750, I could have fix it my self! What are insurance for nowaday I wonder

Re: Vadalism?

Ive had my Vert slashed before :/ they didnt even steal anything... guess they couldnt reach the door handle inside.

Really pissed me off though, happend about a year or 2 ago, stayed out in the rain sewing it up myself by hand on a cold january morning. I'm not even in Surrey! Was right infront of burnaby hospital at night actually...
