UBC Autocross, Sunday May 16

Hey guys.

I've got some new tires so I'm gunna hit this Closed Club event. If you are not a member, you can sign up at the event before racing starts for $20. Renewals are $10.

I registered. Still not 100% but I guess I'll try to take it easy sat night.
We need more f-bodies. SID get your *** out there too...unless your scared

hey what time does it usually go till ? i have to bounce at around 3:00 to make it to work

the timed runs end around 3-4... you can bounce early as long as you work as many times as you run.

I'll be coming out when I have weekends off. I have most of the summer off, can't wait. Hey, I still need to install my SLP sfc's and Hotchkis stb first. Our f-bodies have a disadvantage against most of those corner cutters at the autocross.

Not really.. the biggest disadvantage is that our cars require more driver skill to tap their full potential.

Those mods will do very little (compared to other choices such as tires, alignment, shocks, etc.) to improve your times at the autoX, so dont wait around just cuz you haven't installed them

Run what you brung! It's all fun anyways. Last time I had so much oversteer, the car felt like it had 400rwhp and it was touchy to drive. I still had a blast though.
I agree SFCs and an STB aren't going to make you much faster than you would be now.
