Hey Dave, wasn't that you at MRP last night? I tried to say hi but I guess you didn't hear me! No probs, maybe next week. I wanted to see what your car ran, but the one run I did see, you were all over the track, if that was you,... and it ran a 14.XXX?

Re: Twitchie

I meant to look you up, and yes, I thought I seen Chris there too, he was only 15 feet away from me but we never made eye contact and I was in the middle of some conversation.

Yes, my beard used to be about six inches longer, but about two weeks ago, I was using my 3/8 drill and it got sucked into the cooling fins and stalled the drill. hehehe, that made me real nervous (and in pain), so I carefully stepped on the cord, and unplugged the damn thing. Then I tried to manually reverse the chuck but at first I couldn't. In the end, I got myself free, then I went inside and chopped six inches off, my beard that is.

So yes, it is still the same ole me, and the beard will be long again within six months, but I had to even out the ends after losing a handfull. Hopefully I will catch you next Friday.

OUCH !! . . . that reminds me of a sweet story lol.

I was standing up on this rocker panel on a late model cavalier ( with the back door open in between the roof and the door ) polishing the roof ( electric and trigger locked makita ). I was kinda zoneing out/ daydreaming about **** when all of a sudden it grabbed my coveralls and torqed hard into my ribs causing me extreme pain. I flew off the rocker, bounced my other side off the top of the door ( more extreme pain ) with the polisher still trying to eat me. I couldnt get that bugger off of me I had to cut off my coveralls . . . .It hurt so bad I had huge bruses on both sides . . .. stylin moment lol.

Now every time I see that commertial on Tv with that guy licking the beaters makes me laugh

Re: Twitchie

Speaking of "shop" stories. Ellis has one of the best (well...worst really). I think he laughs about it now, but at the time......

Involves a ladder and a hose.

Maybe he'd share it with us as I don't think it my place to give the details.
