u can tell if ur mount is bad if : when ur in gear and u accelerate and ur shifter moves up , ie pushes up on ur hand .. then ur stock mount is broken ...

doesnt take much to break a rubber mount . i broke 3 of them in a week before i bought a poly mount ... tell mopac to shove their heads up their *** and see if it fits

talk to someone else ... call vancouver mopac and talk to james he'll get u one .. or just goto lordco or best buy...

whats involved in replacing the tranny mounts? i think mine might be crapped, as when i accelerate hard (oxymoron for my car, i know) my shifter moves up, physically, a bit... also, when i loose traction (from a stop), sometimes it hopes all over the place... kinda like its crazy (adam sandler: give me some candy)

its very simple

u need to put ur car on jackstands (the front)

then put ur floor jack under the tranny tailshaft to support it .. drop the tranny cross brace (4 bolts, 5/8" ) then undo the stock mount from the cross brace and tranny, 3 more bolts, put the poly one on and bolt up the cross brace

be careful not to over tighten the mount/tranny bolts, ur tranny casing is aluminum and u can f*ck it up easy (dont ask me how i know)

Dude, I told you when you bought the car it's not going to be a cadilac. The ES tranny mount will just improve your ****s and take the clunky sounds away but add to vibrations.

just weld the tranny to the car! it'll give you the most rigid mount as possible and give you 100% transfer of power without any torque loss through the flexing of mounts etc.
