Well fixed my tranny, I'm REAL happy with what i got for the $$$. I took it to my usual mechanic and he quoted me at $1200. I've heard some tranny rebuilds can cost over 2k, so I was quite happy with the price. Anyhow he rebuilt it completly and when I came to pick up my ride he took me in his shop and explained exactly what went wrong on the plate in the tranny, how it failed and what that caused to go wrong etc.. then he went off and said the threw in a slightly higher stall as well for free (brand new saw the packaging) asks me to come back in 10 days to double check the seals, and then says I've got a year warranty. He also pointed out that someone cracked my starter but its working OK for now.. He spent only a solid day or 2 working on it and replaced everything inside... Car runs GREAT now and seems slightly stronger when it pulls.
