Suggestions for Daily Driver Needed

This is the type of car I am looking for...

-Great Fuel Economy
-Manual 5spd (No Auto)
-Price range 1500-2500

You can get a late 80's VW Diesel Golf/Jetta in that price range.......
I've got a 86' Diesel Golf 5spd, and I've had it since I was 16 (first car)
I drive it everyday. It has 348,000Km on it. It's never left me stranded and the fuel economy is incredible.
It's not for sale.

If you can get a 92ish accord...their interiors are awsome. They're a bit more money, though.

v6 gets 350KM per tank, driving gently.... driving agressively it gets 250 KM per tank.... v8's get more than me, my car sucks ***!!

id spend that money fixing the problem and finding it, then you will have good milege, or you can upgrade it to a 3.8L

not many can beat this

i have a 90 CRX si as my daily beater. i get anywhere from 33-36 MPG through the city and hwy?.....i dont worry about that much probably about low 40 sumthing? it's a fun little 5-speed that you can throw around corners like a go-kart as much as hondas get rag there good at what thier good at what thier made for, oh yeah and did i tell you i can keep up with stock 5.0?

a geo metro any year. get 50mpg (us) can get some really dang cheap
