Skip Shift on 95 Z28

How to eliminate the skip shift on a 95 . You guys have edit thats not pcm spacific right ?? Can you just hook up and eliminate it ?? My freind just bought a black vert and the guy managed to live that many years with it still intact . On mine I had to buy a little plug in modual , but you should be able to just cut it off with edit right

you got ripped off buddy

heres how to disable it

1) jack up vehicle
2) locate skip shift plug on tranny
3) unplug
4) tape up

total cost ... $0.00

doing this will set a code in ur pcm .. but will NOT throw a light.

and yes u can use edit to turn it off .. and yes i do have the program .. but no i cant help u out cuz i fried my data converter box trying to help out andy with his f*ck'n problems ... i swear everytime i go out of my way to help someone out i shoot myself in the foot ...

you know what that chip is ??

its a resistor ... i know u didnt know back then ... but now u do .. u couldve either done it for free and set a code that noone would see unless u scan it .. or paid $0.10 for a resistor at radio shack to not even throw that code

I actualy looked at the free resistor mod too but decided just to fork over the 35 $ for the skip shift . It looks oem and keeps everything clean .

Speeking of air foils . . . are those bbk / holley tb's any good for lt1's .

omg i cant believe u man .. .. u know that electrical tape would do the same job keeping things clean ... cant believe u paid $35 for a 10 cent resistor that u dont even need ...

the throttle body is useless unless u have heads and cam ... the stock one flows more than enough for a stock motor ...

It's not a big deal.......I bought the Jet Skip Shift Eliminator for my car .........
I didn't want to screw around.........and it works fine.

I believe it was around 20 bucks when I did it.

To each there own.
If you want to make your own fine - I'm sure it's easy.

If you don't want to...........that's fine too

I'm sure we all spend money on a regular basis on something that we don't need.
