For a great 2-for-1 ticket head on down to Seattle Center's Key Arena on Saturday 23, 2004.

The WHL action gets started at 7:15 pm when the Seattle Thunderbirds (top team in the US confrence) hosts the Vancouver Giants in game guaranteed to kick @ss.

For those of you who want a full afternoon at the rink, come early for the first half of this double header where the MSN Monarchs will be taking on the Microsoft.com team. These teams consist of MS employees and contractors from around the nation to include many former Junior B/A and NCAA players. This once-a-year event begins at 3:15 PM (should end around 430 or 5:00). Your T-birds ticket will get you access to both games... and I KNOW you can't get this kinda action from the NHL.

$12 to $20 (depending on seat location), available though ticketmaster.

Come on down and root for Monarchs #3... I hear he's got a killer Trans Am.

Cool. Buddy of mine was Captain of the T-birds a few years back... we used to play on Tier 1 teams together.

Just found out a highschool pal also got traded to New Jersey (Dean McAmmond)... he'll be playing for their AHL farm team until the contract gets worked out. He played for the flames the past few years, and next to Mike Modano, he's the only guy I know who's played a Stanley Cup final. Very cool guy to hang out with (you should see the stuff he can do in schrimmage ).



BTW, Microsoft.com won 5-1... but I picked up an assist on a slick break-away pass. ... and I tore my rotator cuff for the 6th time.

The T-birds beat the Giants 5-2 to take first-place in the US division... real exciting game.
