Raytech Solid Pinion Spacer?

The purchase of the 9-inch I originally want to install might not happen now, because my 10-bolt looks to be in fine condition. I plan on installing some Nitto dr's and to help my crappy rear-end hold up, I bought a MAC rear girdle. I also heard that the Raytech Solid Pinion spacer helps alot by preventing the pinion from moving around. Has anyone done this, heard of it, or know ANYTHING about it?

I ran the ratech spacer in my 10 bolt until I got the Moser 12 bolt. It works better than the crush sleeve, but you'll find that you have to put the pinion in/out a few times during install to get the number of shims correct.
