pro 5.0 vs ripper

ok guys and gals, i know this has been done to death, and i hate kicking dead horses, but here we go....

right now, thunder racing has:
B&M ripper - 167.98 (shipping included)
Pro 5.0 - 182.98 (shipping included)

which one should i go for, i've heard great things about them both, but i like the idea of the pro 5.0 having a shorter stick (or adding a shorter stick)

thanks for the input

ian

i have the ripper shifter and love it. i think alot of people if they tried both would go with whatever is cheaper.
if you get the pro 5.0 for like 187.00 it will cost you like another 20-25US to get the lous short stick so your lookin at almost 210 US when you can get the ripper at mopac for like 225 Cdn

I like my hurst just fine. Hurst also came out with a new billet shifter based on the pro 5.0 design.

Did you chirp your slicks on your very last run at mission?

Ha, that's totally not funny... And the fact is no body can know what I would have ran if the awesome 360 wasen't pulled. Did I really inspire you that much to try it for yourself?

Better luck next time.

I don't see you braking that stock torque arm with "all that power"....even now you'll be going "sideway's down the track" in your car...BTW, I guess the only chirping you should be worried about is in the Cutless...because that POS so called car will never be the same. Now you sewer pipe intake suits your car...

seems that the Pro 5 is the flavour of the month, when I bought my ripper, it was the flavour of the month.

I've been very happy with my ripper and find that the stick is a lot shorter than stock. If you can't test both types out on members cars I'd just go for the cheaper one - anything is better than stock!

Why the second thread?
There was already one started with exactly the same title and same person..........
It was only on the second page - all it needed was a ttt refresher comment....:blah:
