need something like this for the LT1, stupid LT1 intakes, big cams upset them at idle/cruise, hence the horrible drivability & split BLM's

Terry Kershaw of Kershaw's Performance in Langley. Me, Perry and Jazz have had him do porting. $60 an hour I believe is his charge.

No complaints from me and I trust his flow bench results.

I don't belive he does that great of work myself, seeing the flow numbers he puts out & all.

I heard Davenport in Calgary does great work.

The King of local engine builders is Ron Parr, so getting him or who ever does his heads to do it wouldn't be a bad decision I guess...not cheap though

IMO contact a few of our American board members...I've seen and heard good things from some Washington-based machine shops. It's a bit of a drive, but the results will pay off. Good luck .

I must agree with Aly, that or port them yourself I don't see how you can't get atleast 240cfm out of an LT1 head even if you were lazy, unless you take out meat where you shouldn't than you mess things up

That being said, the numbers he puts out are also a by product of how much time and money you want him to out in. I wanted the exhaust ported significantly and the intakes improved but not "at any cost". With a blower there is not quite the came benefit from big ported heads then with NA.

I believe Jazz's numbers from his LT1's are pretty good.
