A petition is going after a absolute abuse of power by police, please spread the word about this and help this go around...

I did not attend but I organize GTG's and meets and I pray this never happens to any of us, here is the petition...

I signed it. Seems like juvenile behaviour by the police. As you say, actions like that merely alienate the 98.9% of the rest of the law abiding popluation that resent such infantile harassment.

It is frustrating to see valuable police officers focus on such trivial matters. And, if I read correctly, to sit outside a car show, wait for each car to exit, and cite them as they past, is really sad.

I can see staking out a drug house, car theft ring, etc..., but to stake out a peaceful social gathering seems like an improper use of tax payer funds.

They probably only do it to fill the coffers.

wow... claims of harrassment, entrapment, strong-arm tactics on more than one board. Go figure.

Maybe someone will learn the idea of following the law, and taking responsibility for their actions.

I don't think it's GREAT that SB did it... but come on... they didn't write up new laws or take un-due liberties to do it.

You gotta pay to play. If you WANT to KNOWING break the law, fine... just don't bitch about the people paid to enforce LAWS when they write you a ticket.
