Pics of LTCC
Finally had some time last week to work on the car, build brackets and re-wire the hole LTCC harness for a cleaner/more stock look, took the car out and wow it's been a while
A year of no driving is a long time.
-Re-wired LTCC to reduce wires using LS1/LS2 one plug for all coils connection instead of a wire per coil from LTCC the way it is stock.
-LS2 coils/brackets

Engine bay has dust in it from just standing, will clean it up some more dust/wiring and prolly get corvette fuel rail covers.
If anyone has a spare LS1 to coil wire with boot, I just need the boot that goes to the coil for one of the wires as I'm using an opti boot for one of the coils and it looks weird, so if anyone has one let me know I'll come pick it up, don't care if it's an old stock wire you're about to throw out.

Re: Pics of LTCC
Looks good Bunker.
I recently went to the Deltrq system. I do not have the room for the LTCC. If I can get away from the opti problems I might finaly get a low ten high nine this year!

Re: Pics of LTCC
Yeah, opti's get in the way once you start reving crazy. With the LTCC I got rid of the Rotor inside all together, so less rotating weight at higher RPM = less load on the bearing. The other thing is when the rotor fires 60,000 volts, the two metals most likely attract, creating a PULL from rotor to firing points, eliminating that is even less load
Thanks for the compliments guys.
I'm in Montreal right now and I love this city, it's the funnest, most BELLE city I'm ever seen, and the Poutine is good too

Re: Pics of LTCC
Well as you saw The Delteq would not work for our combo. I have had three others with LTCC who were having simular issues.
BTW I have never had a high RPM problem on my car
I have been shifting at 6,900-7,200 for five or six year now
Good luck man!

bunker.. do you know the part number for those coil harness??? did you make that harness yourself or did bob made it for you... its a lot cleaner than the 8x4 connector wires that i have on mine and i want to clean up the engine room.
Thanks
Thanks
Made it myself a long time ago, actually a few years back LOL, as soon as I got the LTCC that was the first thing contimplated on doing, then one day ended up doing so.
The harnesses? They are avaliable from GM HOWEVER! They are like $80 each lol, so there is another option however.
Simply go to your local salvage yard that has atleast 2 1986-89 Buick Century 3.8L, those have 1 connector for the coil, it's exactly the same, so cut them off, you need two, and there is only one on the car, so you need two cars.
The 2.8L's have a similar connector with just one wire misplaced, no big deal, just use a Nector (I believe) connector disconnect tool and put it into the neighbouring slot(slot is closed, need to pinch it out).
Hope this helps.
