Parts Discount
I wanted to buy 303 Aerospace 303 protectant for my car. An 8 ounce bottle at Zeller's was $14.99, at Lordco it's $8.99. They sell a refill size by the gallon $95.99 but sold it for $85.99 at Lordco. The sales girl at Lordco ask me if I had a car club discount. I mentioned the BCTFB but nothing there. I didn't think so anyways. She punched in the B.C. Hot Rod Association and I got another 30% off. So I bought a gallon for the price of four eight ounce bottles. I know some of you guys get the discount but I'm just wondering if we can get discounts like that we might draw more members.

Lordco makes up there prices outa nowhere , there regular prices never actually get charged its just a mater of getting 20 , 30 or 50 % off depending on there mood and how important you can make yourself look There notorious for this crap . . . I can price out a part at two locations and the diff can be in the 100 $ plus range depending on the part . . . phone back the next day and get a whole new set of prices . . . its like the slot machine at the cassinos man

When I worked for Telus - I got a 30% discount.
I now work for Chilliwack School District #33 - I still get 30% off......
They never ask to see ID, the last time I went in I told them I work for Telus - just to see if they would check - alas no.
It doesn't seem to make any difference to them.
They are as eager to give me a "discount" as I am to recieve it.

I could shop somewhere else but that was a better price even if I ordered it on-line. Larry, thanks for the cap number but I already have the cap but I do need the number for the mobil 1 plaque. Thanks.

City of Vancouver employees get the best deals there...40% I was told. I asked for a price and gave him a discount card (the regular 30%) which is pretty standard. As I was leaving I told him that I worked for the city of Vancouver and he called me back over to the counter and took another 10%!!!
