Paging SPO/F1 MIKE

Hey I received the STB today. Looks brand new and thanx for the deal. One question...I take it the four washers included go under the side plates. Even when I do this the plates do not sit flat on the strut towers. Its almost like the plate area is too big. The corner seems to have to be rounded off. Have you heard of this problem before?
