ok fine ill all let u all know what i was thinking, but i was JUST thinking... and if its still around in the winter i just might do it.. but i need a better paying job before i deside anything
but i can get some nice cheap LT1 blocks with computers and wiring harness, w/ power steering and A/C
i would get the
-LT4 convertion.
-.30 over
-forged int.
-Ltcc convertion.
-aftermarket computer
-some type of vortec blower.
-FLPs or something
-built TH400
-new rearend
-new suspension all around
-frame work (subframes, tube what i can)

woah thats a huge project, but what are your goals really? you might be going over kill here, is this a drag car? daily driver/strip terror? the lt4 conversion may be useless unless you get the heads ported out, and thats atleast 1500 there. you can achieve a lot with just forged pistons. you may not need complete forged bottom end. just lay out your goals and plans first and you may find this more feasable and cheaper then you thought. good luck, i have all the parts (almost) to do this conversion on my 79 but i dont have the time.
there a LT1 in the buysell.. out of a 94 t/a 120k powersteering pump, computer w/ wiring harness for $2000 obo... and there another 1 for $2000 but its out of a 97 but i DO want to do the Ltcc convertion so i doesn't matter if it has a bad opti or vented or w/e
lol .. dude .. take it 1 step at a time . forget about forged intenals and LTCC and mods .. get a damn LT1 in there first (thats a pretty freaking huge step on its own) .. get it to work properly .. then start modding it
