I order lots of stuff from the states so I'd benefit from a service like this although I'd prefer Blaine, Washinton or Point Roberts. I had the US army do a complete search of my buddy's car when we crossed Sumas a couple of years ago. ID check and german shepards to sniff out any contraban. Good thing I didn't have any that day.

whats package express?
Its a place that accepts parcels / packages in Sumas right across the border . You can go to www.packageexpress.com to set up an account . You save alot of money on fees as most companies will ship ups and they charge heavy brokerage .

The tradeoff is Usps ( united states postal service ) is cheaper on the brokerage side , they charge almost nothing but are WAY WAY more expencive up front . In the end you save a few bucks if you plan on shipping to your door .

Ups on the other hand is cheap and fast up front but rape you on brokerage if it has to go across the border . Your original shipping quote will be less but you will fall over when you see what they charge as a brokerage / handling fee .

Package express ( or a similar outfit closer to you ) can acept the package right across the border and you bring it through yourself . This saves on two fronts , the brokerage charges and the original shipping meathod can then be Ups ( much cheaper ) All this = better deals in the end but at the expence of some time and dealing with the border .
