Opinions please...
I decided NOT to go to poly bushings as I heard they are not street friendly. I gather thet DO transfer to much vibration for the comfort of a daily driver.
'Course, the mounts themselves would take some weight off.
Of course the cheapest way for me to loose some weight on the car is to go on a diet myself

Pros: No movement in engine when launching giving you quicker response. Cons: if its a steet car it will shake itself apart. There is nothing there to suck up the engine vibration and it will be transfered to the rest of the car (especially on a unibody). You will not be able to see out your rearview mirrors because they will shake. IMO track only, and I have a pretty lax definition of streetable. Unless you are into MAJOR hp polys will be a better solution. They dont flex much but do suck up some of the vibration. If you want solid mounts for the track but not the street use a cable or chain cinch that you leave loose for the street. Then when you want to race you just pull the lever tight and the engine will not move. Uncle used to do that when he raced for $$$.
