If you do end up painting another colour Ive always liked either black or a navy blue. White or red stripes would compliment those colors great too.

Its going to be VERY expensive to paint you car properly. I mean, you need to paint the door jams, engine compartment and the area around your trunk to keep it from looking like a really getto job. It ain't cheap to do a job properly...my z28 cost $2000 and I cut cormers (didn't paint the dor jams because the new colour was still red..sort of )

I say get some really pimp wheels and clean up your paint with a really good detailing/cut-polish

your purple would look good with accents up black. I say fix up the paint job and get some nice rims. A good set of rims will set your car out and make the paint look like it flows.

Personally I wouldn't do either of the first two rims. As good as they look, alot of people have them. Find something different, the way perry did.
By Black accents I mean things like black door handles, lettering, stipes, etc. You may already have it but I think a gloss black would go really well.
Now that I think about it a better thing IMHO would be to paint the car black and leave high gloss purple stripes/flames, etc so that if you dont paint the door jams, it won't look as noticable. This may be the cheapest yet most dramticall change. Ask Twitch how. I'm sure if you tape off the stripes/flames or something it may work. I've seen a lot of cars with a dominant black and purple accents and I think if done right (which aint hard) it looks killer.
Another option would be to change the shade of the purple so that the door jambs don't stick out. Maybe a darker purple or something.
I'll try to find some pics.

Not big on those flames, I think they look kind of cheap cause they look phoney. Why do so many people go for them? I've seen real looking flames on some show-cars that blow that cheap lookin style out of the water. I do like the purple ghost flames on pic #4, great lookin truck too. Pic 12 is nice too, just my opinionated opinion.
