so guess what my !%&^*((#^$%!@$! block is cracked yea yea i know, it was my own stupidity but still anyways guess this will inspire the new engine to arrive sooner... anyways thought i'd tell ya'al

i forgot to change the antifreeze and it sat over winter and cracked, and well since i wasnt able to find time to change me antifreeze well it is my fault.

anyways so after i sell my fly i will be looking for a 300 hp lt1 fi from a 4th gen and maybe a 6 spd to drop in my car for a 1000...

plus is langely up yet cause im visiting family in surrey before i go back to white horse just wondering if anyone is hitting that up?

You will not find a LT1/T56 combo for that price.

Expect to pay around six times that for a good engine and tranny.

what were you running water?? im pretty sure old antifreex wont freeze and crack the block. you can pick up a lt1/t56 for less then 3k maybe less if you keep your eyes peeled.

no kidding, what did u do... start it up for the first time in 3 months of cold and rev the **** out of it?

you can find an engine for about $1000-$1500 and tranny for about $1500

I was wrong then, looks like everyone is saying it's half of what I thought.

I was looking a couple years ago for a LT1/T56 combo for my old Camaro - it was 6 G's then.........things have got much cheaper since then I suppose.
