New Camaro joins the family
I bought a yellow 2010 Camaro. Hennessey 550 with chrome blower, black Hennessey wheels, Corsa, shifter, KV coilovers.
I pick it up Monday.
I plan on some other mods and I'll update as they happen.
Very excited.

Well a lesson learned. We had an understanding. I had made all the arrangements to pick the car up this Monday. Got my insurance, flight ticket, exercised some stck options to pay for it, transferred cash to USD ready to make a wire transfer I just got an email from the seller that someone had come back from a month ago and offerred him $5k more then our agreed price.
Although I had tried to send a $1,000 deposit on Monday it did not get there for one reason or another and thus we agreed I would wire the whole amount on Friday - tomorrow - for pick up on Monday.
So......there is no point getting in a 'snit' about the situation and though I'm out of pocket $325 I guess I'm back to shopping.

Nowadays it seems like people are almost in a hurry to screw over other people. I went to a "friend" before buying my 93. He had a 97 Camaro, 6 cyl auto, that he was in a hurry to get rid of cheap (800 bucks). Body was in good shape, aftermarket 5 spokes. Thursday when we asked him about it, he said "sure, come on over on Saturday and you can look at it". We got there Sat morning, and apparently, since we had called, he decided "hmm, must be someone actually wants it" and put it out on the road with a For Sale sign, and sold it Friday. We got there, he wouldn't answer the door, and when we got home, had a message on the computer that said "sorry, sold the car Friday. Hope you aren't mad." - Apparently, for him, was too important to get the money Friday night, as opposed to waiting until Saturday morning. Would've been nice if he had told the guy "I have someone coming tomorrow to look but if they don't want it, I can call you." People these days, don't care about relationships of any sort. They want money yesterday.
I do hope you get another great deal soon!

That's brutal Shawn! On the topic of selling vehicles, I wish most people were as honest as you....I had my car sold 4 seperate times last year and each time it came time to pay the buyer took off or had some lame excuse. I'm now kinda happy the deal(s) never completed because I have a renewed interest in the TA.
Either way, maybe this will leave the door open for an even better deal to come along.
