New Best.
Had to share this with someone............
At the local track tonight I managed to do the best I have yet.
On the motor I ran 12.4 @ 113
On the juice I ran 11.43 @ 127.42.
I'm happy.

Nope, not stock.
383, Xtreme 236/242 cam, 11.8:1 compression.
Stock heads/valves, with porting.
Oh ya, and a bit of juice.
Here is the timeslip. Car #3 in the left lane.

What was the temps and weather like where you ran? Can you give us a rundown of your run. What kind of tires ya running. with that 113 trap you should be low 12's.
I ran yesterday too. 95* 24% humidity, I did not have a weather station but I am sure the DA was around 2000'.
I ran my BFG drag radials with my regular front tires. I am actually impressed with the BFG's. Guys with slicks were spinning and having trouble launching.
I had a 1.87 60' with a 12.5 @110 best run of the day. Now if you look at my sig that run was made on a 73* degree day without the rollbar, subframe connectors and Spohn torque arm. so I added over 100#'s and lost 3 MPH on a hot day. I should be actually right near my best time on a good weather day and switching to my Hoosiers and skinnies.
There was a 3002 Cobra, with exhaust and intake running 13.3's Donny and Bobbie kept buggin me to race him! I did not run him.
By the way the pic's of Bobbies SOM WS6 does not do it justice. That thing is the SHIZZNIT in person.
Nice times for you tho!
Ken

That Cobra ran a 13.194 when I ran him compared to my 14.5
Stupid Opti...
having to shift at under 5k rpms while blowing black smoke down the track sucks for times. Still you shoulda whooped on him
You beat an LS1 that day, why not an 03 Cobra too?I got my proper tune also. Got the wrong url in the email he sent me. I'm happy, car doesn't pop when I let off the gas anymore. Pulls harder too. And of course that night when the temps went down my high rpm miss went away completely.
