Yup that's right, Iran. The f'n middle east, I'm kinda worried about him going but he has to do it for buisness.
Him and my mom just left to go to Ireland for 1 month and at the end he will leave my mom in London and she will return with him going to Iran for 2 weeks.
My dad works for BC Hydro and was supossed to go for about 4 months but the people he is dealing with keep putting it off and putting it off. He just wanted to go and get it over with. I know it's not as bad as other contries and other areas in the middle east but I am still worried and I really dont want him to go. There is also a possiblity that he could end up moving over there and working there for a couple of years. The buisness men over there are very rich and my pops said the only way he would go is if my mom could go too and they tripled his salary. Which they would.
I dont know I'm just worried that something could happen but I know it wont.

 

I feel for you. In some people's eyes, money is worth the risk. But if I had a chance to go to the middle east and make a million a year, I would not go.

Chances are it will turn out just fine, and hey, you can't do anything about it, so don't worry, be 'appy!

 

Tell your dad to grow a beard, get a nice tan and wear some muslim garb, he'll have a better chance of walking the streets.

Thanks guys. If you seen my dad you would understand my concern. He is 6"5 and about 320 lbs. He will stick out like a sore thumb Im concerned but he is a smart man and will be fine. I think the people he is going to meet will treat him right and keep him secure.
My pops would sacrifice 3-5 years of going over there to work if it meant helping out his family by making more money. He is just that kinda man. He just wants to work untill 55 and then retire with my mom.

 

I know you didnt mean anything by this coment but it is this kind of thing that has me concerned. I really didnt want to hear anything like that. My older bro watched that vid not to long ago and couldnt sleep thinking that my dad was going to that area.

I have to agree Iran is totally safe, Let's not get confused with Iraq where people die from suicide bombs everyday. I'd say Iranian women look exotically beautiful too if they wear western style clothes but don't they eat dessert or live in the desert?
