Mission CCC - Best "Bib and tucker"

Hey guys. I think you all know that there is a show n shine on the Saturday at the Mission CCC but they are promoting this event on the radio a lot. It is to be a fund raiser for the Variety Club.

Originally I wasn't going to spend a lot of time detailing the car but give that this may be a bigger event, I'm going to put some time in detailing.

So, make sure you all have your cars 'best bib and tucker on'.

NOTE: So which one of you cultural Neanderthals knows what that phrase means?

Support vehicle

Also to all CCC participants. Cory will be driving the Durango to Mission for me as a support vehicle. I'll be taking my tool chest etc etc if anyone needs some tools whilst we are there.

That is right DAN!!

A tucker was a bit of lace worn around the neck and top of the bodice by 17th-18th century women, something that was tucked in. the bib was a shirt-front or covering for the breast.

Sorry Dan. My mistake.

And well done, I'm impressed.

As you say, a bib is what blokes wore underneath their tuxedo in lieu of a shirt. They would also have 'fake' shirt sleeve cuffs.

More useless trivia and crap.

Why does a man have buttons on a suit jacket cuff?

Also, what are appelets for? You will usually see them on military uniforms and sweaters.
