Draco, I'm in anytime. Cory PM'd that you were looking to get it, so I just noticed this thread now. Just PM me if you want me in. I was going to buy it this next month anyway.

Is there any point using LS1EDIT on a stock car?

You can bump up your rev limiter (it is really a couple hundred RPM too low on a stock setup even), lean out the fuel mixture, bump up timing, eliminate skip shift, etc.

On a stock car there is 10-20 lb/ft of TQ to be had in tuning and around 10 peak HP.

I think is decent bang for the buck. If you go with a cam in the future, it becomes more of a necessity (or you can pay someone else bigger $$$ to tune it).

Amit, if you ever plan to change anything in the future, this will give you the option to do it. Unlimited alterations. And Draco is correct that there is some minor gains to be had from stock form. The true value comes once you add headers, etc...

So, we going to do this or not?

I've been asking around for about a full year now for someone to go in on Edit with me, and this is the first time there has ever been 3 of us. Top that off, the dollar is awesome. Let's order the dang system! I'm not keen on waiting too much longer, if you don't mind my honesty.

Maybe try contacting Johnny about Perry's intentions. I think JD may check the forum more regularly and talks to Perry...

Yeah, got to share the cable. Four users per cable (unless you get the tuner model which is thousands of dollars, unlike LT1). And I can imagine sharing with you would be a major B!tch... you'd hog the darn thing. Lmao!

Just joking - you'd actually be decent to share with because you do have a good programming background with Edit, if I remember right.

Craig: I wasn't aware that you could actually send the cable back to have other VINs added. Are you sure about that?
