Lordco Rant!

Here is my rant of the week!

I place an order for cross drilled/slotted rotors at 11:05AM. Guy says they will be here in 45 minutes, as a driver is just about to leave to their location... I say ok..

I return 1 1/2 hours later, ask the guy are the rotors here.. he says nope driver just called she is on her way. End up waiting 20 minutes.. (by this time 5 other people are there as well waiting for the driver..) still no driver, few more min, the stupid fat chick b1yatch driver finally rolls in, the lordco ppl are just mad pissed at her, I get the rotors...

guy compares the part #, and OF COURSE THEY ARE THE WRONG F4CKEN ROTERS!!!

SO NOW I HAVE TO WAIT AN OTHER GODDAMN 30 - 60 minutes before I get my rotors!!!

THEIR STUPID BIYATCH DRIVER WAS NOT ONLY LATE BUT SHE WAS STUPID ENOUGH TOO TO BRING THE WRONG FKEN ROTORS!!!!!!!!!

ARGHHHHHHHHHH IM MAD!

Are you sure it was the driver's fault. Did the counterman even order the right ones? How bought the guy he talked to at the warehouse. Did this guy look up the right ones in his computer? Did the warehouse guy enter a wrong part # and bill out the wrong rotors. Most people assume that it is the driver's fault when usually it is not. In most warehouses the driver is not given a choice of what to take he/she is handed a part with a packing slip. Then the driver usually checks the p/n of the part with that on the packing slip. If it matches they take the part. The drivers don't know or care if the p/n's are correct for the application, they just know that a 3202 was ordered and they picked up a 3202. In most cases the counterman has incorrectly looked up the application and when **** hits the fan blames it on the driver to save face infront of the angy customer.

I'm not sure if this has actually happened in your case but unless the driver holds parts that have DIFFERENT p/n's than parts on the packing slip, you can blame one of two people- the counterman at Lordco or the warehouse phone operator.

I agree with Mike - be careful who ya blame . Lordco often screws things up, so I try to pick up the items from the delivering location instead of relying on driver schedules...I usually save time and hassle that way.

Good luck.

I went to the Whalley Lordco a couple weeks ago asking about a cutout and everyone looked at me like I was speaking Chinese. There were three guys behind the counter trying to figure out what I was asking. One guy says to another "check the APC catalogue" I was a little surprised there were three straight guys that work in an auto parts store that have never heard of a cutout. Finally one guy says "oh yeah you're right, there is such a thing, ok they are 220 for a pair but I can give them to you for 180 plus taxes".

..the Lordo rant had a good ending, I had to wait an extra hour after the screwup and then I finally got the proper rotors, the dude at the counter didnt screw up, it was their driver who went on a break when she was supposed to deliver on time (hence 5 other ppl waiting for her too)...

so the dude at the counter was nice and gave 20 bux off each rotor, saving me extra $40 bucks

bad delivery, but good way to make ppl happy! haha save em money

Try ordering parts for a living . When you have a car on the hoist and are told the parts will be 20min... then wait 30 and they arent there only to call and find out they ordered the wrong part and the correct one isnt available for 3hrs... thats sucks! Actually the shop I work at buys enough stuff that they usually work hard to get us our stuff asap (and they know that if they screw up too often the boss will cancel our account). We order by part# now though, have to look it up in our catalogs. Also I do enough cash sales from the cloverdale lordco that they are pretty good to me (full discount etc).

Here at the North Van Lordco are the rudest people I've ever met except one guy but he never works there (only sometimes) anywho the guy is the type that even if you waited 1 hour for your part because of their screw up he'll tell you to be more clear next time, I wanna shoot that idiot, if you ask him for a part he'll show it to you, if you start looking at it he'll tell you "haven't you ever seen a botl before" but he's the stupid one. Than if you go there to pick up some rotors say & say "Hi I'm here to pick up my rotors for my 95 Trans am, rear ones" he'll start looking & you'll interupt him & say "I ordered them up just a few hours ago" he'll be like " WELL WHY DIDN"T YOU SAY So, would save us all a lot of time" & walk away.

Someone has to shoot him, when I need a part I never go there just so taht I don't have to go through the insults that guy always gives.
