My buddy Duane had his car on the dyno the other day and it put down some impressive numbers at 20lbs of boost. It was leaning out, so he couldn't go any higher, so with some tuning and when he starts spraying it ought to put down even bigger nubmers

Watch for it at the track this year - a white supra running 11's

 

I really want one of those bad boys!! They respond rediculously welll to mods. How does it pull on the freeway? Wayyyy harder than an LS1?

 

those things are wicked, i saw a vid of a red one once on a dyno slide off cuz it had so much power i think it was something like 700hp awsome cars

 

ive seen this car, very nice! it has won fastest import at mission 2 times i think, and it will probably run mid to high 11 without nos!

 

He'll be competing with Loel this year for fastest import (11 sec talon). It ought to be interesting to see who's fastest

 

What dyno shop did he use?

Love the Supra... a very nice car and one of my favouraites, not including the f-bodies.

What's his mods? More than BPU'd I guess. This is a MkIII? You don't see a lot of those models running that strong. Mostly the MKIVs.

Yeah they do. Well actually his as a 2nd gen supra which doesn't respond quite as good as the 3rd gens but the 3L toyota motors are all nice!

I saw that car today!! i was high so i cant remember everything, but it was downtown, or on cambie, or on brodway
but it had something else on the hood or something. Bad-*** looking.
No wait, it came from the east side of vancouver.

 

I just saw him tonight by my house. It looks nice and clean. And sounds beautiful too. He still has a couple little things to do. He's hoping to get at least 450 after that. He was saying that the street tires break loose in 3rd under boost. Too bad it was raining out then i could of went for a ride.
