My headers arrived late friday, so come Saturday, I'm all keen to get the install done. I have a party to hit in the afternoon/evening, but I figure I have several hours during the day to get some stuff done. Spent a good amount of time cleaning out the weld points near the flange with a dremel, opening up the holes (which were quite clogged from the manufacturer ).

So, I'm half way through my headers, just starting to unbolt the old y-pipe, when I get this nagging feeling that I've forgotten something. Oh well, I think, its time for the party, so I'll worry about it tomorrow. And I still figure to be done in time to show up at the dyno.

I go out for the evening and have a few beers, and get talking with some friends about AIRCARE, cars, etc.... Then it dawns on me.

I forgot to aircare my car BEFORE I started installing the LTs!!! Lol!

How it slipped my mind I can't imagine... as of thurday last week, I had it all planned to go to aircare first, making myself clear for emissions testing for 2 years+. Friday comes, the headers arrive, and I am SO possessed to get these things installed, I completely forgot to get tested first.

So, I put everything back together today and will aircare tomorrow. After that, re-begin the install.

What a dumbazz.

Heh, funny stuff man. Why is it that you cant aircare with headers?
