Last night at the drive-in
Last night at the drive-in
After the car cruise sunday, more like a cannonball run. I went to the Hillcrest drive-in for the last night ever. They showed 4 movies ending with T3. I wish I had a home computer to rally the troops (you guys). I do my computer stuff at work but I'm shopping for a laptop. I'm sorry to see this last drive-in in the lower mainland close for good. I've been there many times and the fm sound on the Monsoon stereo kicks butt. Home theatre here we come but it will never be the same. It getting hard to find a place to hang-out these days.
Last night ever???
WTF??
No wonder they are going out of business........there's no advirtising for Hill Crest.
I didn't even know that it was closing for good.
So where do we have to drive to now, to see a drive in movie?

they are re openingit in mission abby next year that property was worth to much. They bought it showed movies on it to cover the morgtage sold it for probably a $5 million profit and now start all over again. seems smart to me
Thanks Ewen for the update on the new drive-in. I never heard about it so I'm delighted to hear about the relocation. The drive-in was sold out sunday. Trucks and vans are supposed to park in the back cause they block the view of cars, especially are f-bodys. SUV's are just as bad and there was alot of them there. They park backwards and open there rear hatch blocking my view partially too. We moved up after the first 2 movies and had a great view. Those drinks in the cooler were so good. I'm calling for a big convoy on opening friday in Mission. Just think, we can race at the track then hit the drive-in. This is going to work-out awesome.
