Just wanted to say hi & see if anyone has a Camaro for sale?

Hey guys.. As you can tell (from the single post ) that I'm new here.

A lil' backroung.. hmmm.. I'm 20, Egyptian, live in Riceland, BC & would rather be dragged by a Camaro then drive a rustank

I LOVE camaro's & maybe one day I'll win the lotto or something & be able to afford to buy a '67 & restore that beauty. But until that day I'll stick to what I can afford.

I've owned 3 Camaro's so far, my first car being an '82 Berlinetta. That car barely ran but I loved it. Then came the '79... that thing had popsicle sticks & bubble gum holdin it together but it could move when it had too. And then my baby, my 1985 Z-28, custom metallic blue, 350cu pushin 430hp.. .well, I could on & on, but I won't take up 10 pages hahahah... I loved that thing. I got into an accident with it a few months back in DT vancouver, someone cut me off on the bridge & knocked me into the wall.

Those bridge railing are rather unforgiving to you car.

Anywho, I got about $11,000 from ICBC for the write-off & was SUPPOSED to get the salvage back aswell. However, when I went to pick up my wreck they told me that they "accidentally" sold it to someone else. I was unhappy to say the least.

After that, with the rising gas prices & the falling of my chequing account I decided to go for the "economical" choice & drop my money down as a downpayment for a 99 Prelude. I know, I know.. how could I right? Well, as far as imports go, there are only a few I like & even fewer I would drive. The prelude was one of them & was sitting right in front of me at the time, I really needed a car, so I picked it up.

Belive it or not, that thing is costing me an arm & a leg. Any minor repairs are no longer minor when you get the bill from Honda, not to mention the $300 a month insurance payments I'm makin!

SO! I have decided to part with the Rice Mobile & return to the domestic world I love so much. I was goingto simple trade it in for a 02' Dodge Ram (possible one of the most gorgeus trucks ever made) but I am in the process of starting my own business & need to erraticate or radically lower my debts.

I am now looking for a Camaro. If I could get my hands on a 1st gen for under $5000 I'd be the happiest person in the world, but since I know that miracles don't always happen, I'm also looking for a 3rd Gen.

SO, as I said earlier, HI! AND, if you know anyone selling either a 1st, or a 3rd gen Camaro get in touch with me... you know, either reply to this thread, pm me or you can email me. hishameen@msn.com

My name's Hisham BTW. You can call me hish, hishi, sham, shamy, hisha, esha, esham, eshy, or any other variation of those sounds!

Nice to meet you all & very sorry for the long post...

Also, please accept my appologies for any spelling errors... you must realize that it's quater to 4.... in the morning! I work nights so this is pretty much the only free time I have. I'm either busy "doing ****" during the day or at work. but hey, that's life... it ain't as easy as they make it seem on television.

Welcome to the board Hisham .

In the last few weeks, there have been several people trying to sell their F-Body's. Just search some past threads.

Also, we're having an F-Body meet this Sunday, so come on by if you wanna meet some of us. Check the applicable thread for details.

Good luck in your search!

A.

That was a good introduction post. Feel like I know you now! Welcome to the board. Sorry that I can't think of a car for sale right now (other than what Lucifer mentions).

Hey man. Welcome to the board!!

I think I've met you before at the Petro Can gas station on 3 and Williams. If I remember correctly you were asking me if I would sell my polished Iroc rims...

Anyway, take a look at the pictures in my sig. to help jog your memory.

BTW... I've worked side by side on Pablo's car (G-Ride) Its a good car. Too bad you don't still have that other motor to drop into this one.

Yeah man.. I remeber you! Those pics were taken before you got your new hood right? Looks nice.

That was quite a while ago that I saw you... & sorry I didn't call you about the rims... I just decided to have mine restored. I liked the way they looked stock actually...

& yeah.. I wish I did have that engine still... damn ICBC. I wish I stil had that salvage. I spent SOOO much money about a WEEK before the accident. I was just on my way home & was planning to take some pics. I had just had the suspenstion done (Eibach springs & Koni shocks & struts), cost me a pretty penny but the car handled like a DREAM.

Anways... Nice to meet you all & I think I just might show up on Sunday... unless of course you guys mind having a Prelude tag along
