Just Got Back From Mission and OHHHH MY GOD!!!
Sandeep, Matt, Ollie, my brother and myself just witnessed another rear-end biting the dust. Our beloved Payam just grenaded another car part (or parts) at the starting light...my deepest condolensces go out to his injured Z28 and soon-to-be injured bank account

Here's what happened:
Payam was in the far lane, lining up against a green GTO. The burn out was sweet...those Mickey T's heated up nicely and the group of us new it was going to be a good run. I made Payam promise me earlier that he was going to run N/A this time, as his last pass was a little frantic with the 75HP shot of crack. He agreed...thank God!

After the smoke had cleared, we see the Z motionless with what appeared to be a crapload of parts underneath it. Right away we knew the DS had come apart, but most of us just thought it was a busted U-Joint. About 20 agonizing minutes later, the crew finally moved the car and literally burned off the mess from the track. Payam walked over, laughing loudly, and told us he needed another $4000 for a new rear!!!
We all feel really bad for ya bud, and if you need a hand with anything, let us know.
The funniest part of all of this was that during the cleanup of the mess, the announcer told the crowd that Payam crashed his car earlier, and that he had a reputation for "creating carnage on the track as evidenced by the silver-colored door and body panels on the passenger side"

yah .. it was the sweetest burnout .. i think i had JUST gotten the juice out of those ET drags .. when i was doing my burnout my rpms couldnt keep up with the tires .. those things stick like glue 
i apparently broke something while doing the burnout ... cuz there was a trail of gear oil from the box to the staging line .. then i staged .. matted the gas holding the 2 step limiter at 5k, dumped the clutch .. and clak clak clak is all i heard..
i also shattered one headlight and one foglight (u can see it in the pics) when i broke the rear end .. wierd eh ?!
oh well .. u play hard .. u pay hard .. except i've been paying way too much and been gettin little play .. think its time for me to trade in the maro for that SRT4 i've always wanted
anyways .. i'll go look at the thing tomorrow .. i know noone has any spare rear ends since matt just asked everyone .. but if u come across one id like to have it

others, DONT BOTHER WITH 12 BOLTS .. THEY ARE JUNK. hell im not even making any power and i shattered mine... straight to a 9 inch i go .. see how fast i can break that one

the best time i could muster up was a 11.9 @ 120 with 1.9 60' and a half *** 75 shot (too much timing pulled and no bottle pressure) my best NA of the night was 12.0 @ 116 with 1.7 60' .. thats bogging and spinning then bogging then spinning some more .. i also got my *** handed to me by greg's crazy *** stang that ended up running a 10.9 on an UNTUNED motor .. gotta hand it to this guy . he worked for 4 days nonstop night and day to get that thing rolling .. congrats bud ! u deserve it
