I dont know how many of you guys have ever heard the Name John Lingenfelter, But he is widely known for his High performance in the Racing world (roundy poundies) & for several of the Lingenfelter Corvettes, Pushing them to & then past their limits.

Last Oct (2002) he was in a car wreck during a test run for a race. Well Last night Dec 25 2004 He past a way:

We are sad to announce that John Lingenfelter, founder of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, passed away yesterday, December 25th, 2003. John had been in a semi-comatose state since November 2002 when he entered into a coma during surgery that was necessary due to a racing accident in Pomona, California in October 2002. I send my regrets. I was considering buying one off his 500hp plus crate motor kits at one point. It's a big loss to the car-racing industry and I hate to hear about anyone losing their life because of a car accident. Rest in Peace.
