It's heeere

Woo hoo! My ZZ5 (fastburn 385 + Hot cam kit) engine has just arrived With a huge ammount of luck I'll get it running this weekend. Being that problems always arise, it may well not happen 'till later in the week

I was reading the information that came with the engine, and it turns out that it can use the accessory brackets from an LT1 f-body or Corvette. That might look a hell of a lot better than the old style pulleys that I have now. Does anyone know what a set of used accesory brackets and pullies might be worth?

Congrats man, you're probably looking at $50-$70 for the bracket.

I have an extra accessory bracket. One of the bolt holes needs to be tapped and I polished it up already. It looks good.

$40?

I may be interested... I have to see how the engine install goes before deciding which bracket/pulley system to go with.

You think by know Id know that sarcasm doesnt do very well when written. And maybe the little winking guy was too subtle . Anyhow, I have done lots of engine swaps.... and several on 2nd gens (my own uh, 3 times). I also got an engine leveler for the cherrypicker that makes life a lot easier if you need it.
