Bring some beer, I will get some hotdogs, burgers and buns. We can wreak havoc on the dyno and get a full gut as well plus a lot of fun
Fockin A...
Cody came out today to help with the TH 400 install. Thanks Cody
We got the tranny in and started putting in the new custom Spohn driveshaft. It was going in but with a lot of difficulty! Actually had to "pound" it in. (Reason to become clear later)
Got that hooked up then started playing witht he tranny put it in *N* so we could turn the driveshaft to make sure it was spinning freely. DOH! nope not spinning.
Find out the driveshaft is bigger in diameter than the stock one. It is now bound up on the top of my Spohn torque arm cross member! So we space the tranny mount. Nope not enough. Now I have to get some 1/4" flat plate steel, fab up some spacers and place them between the body and the torque arm
cross member mounts.
Now I also have to figure out just how much fabbing I am going to have to do to mount and make functional my Hurst ratchet shifter in place of the stock unit!
I need a drink!
Hey looks good. As soon as I get all the bugs worked out with this TH 400 install and the car is running 100% I plan on bringing it out to the dyno along with my LT1 edit to have you help me get it running 120%

Re: Its finally in the hole!
Cody, I can start making serious pulls on the dyne starting one week from wednesday. That will be 21 days from the date of the last pour. The concrete should be cured plenty good enough by then. Besides its a lateral pull instead of having a direct upward force and with the way them anchors was designed and the rebar that is in the floor I think it will hold fine.
The floor looks pretty good, there is some fish eyes in the paint where the last tenant left a lot of damn wax and polish residue from his detail business. I will be back in the shop in the afternoon to lay down some more expoxy on those trouble spots in hopes of covering it up. Othewise the floor looks 100% better than before. The new lifts will be coming in next week as well, so I should be in full swing after this week. The last thing left to do is to do the drive way pavement behind the dyno, otherwise I will have the cars come in from the right side and back up onto the dyno, until its paved. I don't want the cars to pick up gravel that can be slung all over the dyne and the shop after driving across the gravel to get into the shop. You know anyone that can pave that drive way cheap?
Ken just give us a call when you are ready to dyno that car of yours. Then we can finally meet and put a face on that forum handle

Stop on by next time you are in town. We are just a couple minutes north of the old shop off I5. The addy is: 9305 NE HWY 99 right across the street from Carls JR and Winco Foods on the east side of HWY 99.
