My are the TES #6602 95'-97' dual cat 1-5/8"
header system. No mine didn't come with the
"Y" pipe and the came painted black which I got
ceramic coated & polished.
The instructions say that there is some cutting and
welding required at the stock bellows pipe & the supplied
short extension pipe, did yours have this as well?. I
was also told you need to loosen the motor mounts
& do them one side at a time, any thoughts on that?.

Steven
yeah I think mine were the 6603s for the 94's with single cat. They came chrome plated. I didn't do any cutting so I'm not 100% on that. I guess you could loosen the motor mounts and pry the motor back and forth for more room, but I never did.

Hey guys, is there a special O2 sensor socket I need
to buy or can you get them off with a wrench?.

Sandeep, did you have alot of problems getting the
headers in without loosening the motor mounts?
Would this also be a good time to change my plugs &
wires? I'm going out to Abbotsford tomorrow to Best
Buy to get the header gasket and maybe plug wires.

Hey there Mike, long time no talk (since last dyno).
What size Taylor wires do you have? I got a price
from NAPA on some Aurora 9mm wires @ $83.00.
How do the Taylor's hold up against heat & headers?
Hopefully I'll get some good pony's out of these
headers too, my numbers sucked @ the dyno
LMK.

these Taylors are the 8mm ones. 9mm wires won't fit in the stock looms AFAIK. The wires are excelent quality...EVERYONE uses them.

Are the aurora wires a make it yourself kit? You need a special end that fits into the opti distributor which mine come with. Mine also come with the han held crimping tool (better than the vise style) and custom MADE-FOR-YOU looms. This cost me over 175 cdn to have shipped to my door.

Do some searches on the wires, they are excellent quality.

Hey Mike, which style of wires are they-Pro Wire,
Spiro-pro etc? My Summit Racing Catalog came in
the mail today, want to read up on them.
I will most likely get them from you anyways, sounds
like a great deal, atleast I'll know they will fit.
Should I go with header spark plugs or just regular
dbl platinums?

Hey Shaun, Sat. the 3rd will work for me. What time
should we start that day?

Now I just need a yea or nea on the Sat. July 3rd
date from : Michael, Steve.C, & possibly Sandeep.
Thanx guys

Steven

These are the Spiro-pro wires. You can see the kit offerd at thunderracings website here:http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=104

For plugs you should go with the NGK TR55

What header gaskets did you get?

You can get them off with a wrench and as for the headers it was a tight fit but I got them in without loosening the motor mounts.
I would also do the wires and plugs. Buy Mikes, Taylors are good wires and thats a good deal. I'm using taylors a s well. Bigggers not always better.

Hey Mike,
I checked out the link you sent & am happy with
the price & the info. Are they top mount or side
mount looms? When do you want to hook up
to close the deal? Muchly appreciated.
For the header gasket I believe they are Flow Tech
Aluminum ones, they are thicker than Edelbrocks, they
are about $40.00 . I'm picking them up tomorrow AM.
I'll see if they have the spark plugs while I am there.

Cheers...

Top mount looms and they are red!

IMO you should get diffeent header gaskets. Go with the felpro 1406 and get them from bestbuy...they are great gaskets(again everyone uses them and they are only 20 bux.

You can call me anytime at 454-1964. I'll be at the Java Hut tomorrow and I could bring the wires and meet you there if you want.
